About Me
Hi there! I'm Adam Crowl, an Executive & Equipping Pastor at Table Community Church in Hillsboro, OR. I have years of education & experience in organizational leadership (Executive) and Spiritual Formation (Equipping). In my role I help our staff and our people enter into "a process of being formed into the image of Christ for the sake of others" as the late Robert Mulholland had put it. I think I can help churches seeking to Practice the Way do the same with my
experience networking with other churches & pastors.

Resources
Weekly Spiritual Practices Resource
for Communities (Sermon Series)
This resource was a plan & tool I developed for communities to engage with spiritual practices together each week. Each Sunday would be a topical introduction with some application points, but bulk of the application
happened during the week with these resources.
Three Part Staff Notebook
Organization, Prioritization & Formation
(Emailed Attachments Contain Full 194pg Content)
This resource is part of a notebook that I developed for our department leading staff. It is an editable physical notebook structured into three sections: 1. Organization (calendars and resources from other parts of the notebook pulled forward), Prioritization (using our goal setting tools and templates to set faithful, relevant, and effective goals & tasks), and Formation (resources for focusing on spiritual formation from a handful of different directions).
This is a small part of a nearly 200 page notebook that has had rave reviews from our staff already about the ways it helps them focus and integrate different aspects of their work and devotion that can feel compartmentalized and separated at times.
Reflect & Pray With Art
Lent 2023
During Lent we asked people to engage with spiritual practices most days of the week (focusing on the big three Lenten practices of prayer, fasting, and charity/justice). One of the spiritual practices was what I call "engaging with art" where people allow art to inspire them in their devotion to God and life of prayer. They would use this guide every Friday.
This art eventually became part of our Stations of the Cross experience that our people prayerfully walked through with their families and communities during the week before Easter, contemplating some of the most significant moments of our Lord's journey to the cross.
Lent Cards 2023
This cards were a resource I developed to help people engage with spiritual practices during the Season of Lent. Individuals & Families would take a set of postcard size cards and a woodblock with a slot cut out to hold them from Ash Wednesday to Easter. They would change out the cards every day and then engage with these traditional Lenten practices and use them in family discipleship and community practices & conversations.
Many of our people placed this on their dining table, desk, or somewhere central and obvious while telling us it provided a daily reminder and opportunity to practice.
2022 Lenten Calendar
During Lent in 2022 we provided the following calendar and daily/weekly instruction for our people to engage in the Season of Lent with Spiritual Formation & Practices in mind. We have made a concerted effort to have these resources be something parents could lead their children in as well as something communities could engage with together.
Weekly Scripture Reading & Spiritual Practices for Communities (f/Daniel Sermon Series)
These are some of the weekly resources communities could download or take home each week in printed off handouts. It had a daily engagement to do as an individual and in communities, as well as an illustration and meditation to think on each day (or week) that was written by Scott Erickson (used with permission).
Spiritual Formation & Deformation were central to this series.
